Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson is writing songs to help get over his split from Kristen Stewart.

The 27-year-old actor is not planning on landing a record deal but is penning tracks in a bid to take his mind off his Twilight co-star, after they split for a second time last month. "Rob's always had half a mind on his music, but when his film career and relationship with Kristen both took off at the same time, something else had to give. He's really enjoyed picking up his guitar again properly and it has given him something to focus on during the break-up. Everyone's saying that he's really talented, but he's adamant we'll only be seeing him in films for the time being," a source close to the actor said.

The pair split for a second time after Kristen got back in touch with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, who she confessed to having an affair with last year behind Robert's back.

Adam Levine and Matthew MorrisonMatthew Morrison wants a musical collaboration with Adam Levine.

The Glee singer-and-actor was snapped up by the Maroon 5 frontman for his new record label and the pair have discussed joining forces on a song, despite having different musical styles.

While Matthew's new album, Where It All Began, is more jazz and blues inspired, Adam is best known for making thumping pop-rock songs with his band. "We've certainly talked about [a collaboration]. Our styles and sounds are quite different but he loves my album so much and he's a big fan of that type of music. But you wouldn't think it because he's such a rock star," Matthew said.

Although he's used to being in front of the camera after playing glee club teacher Mr. Schuester for four years, Matthew insists filming his first music video was completely "different" to his usual work: "They are so different but I love both. With Glee, you learn lines, you show up and you're good to go. But with a music video, you get involved with everything and it's a lot more personal."

Ringo StarrRingo Starr says that the Beatles may have reunited by now had they all survived.

The 72-year-old musician and his former bandmate Paul McCartney have both gone on to have successful music careers since the band split in 1970, but Ringo likes to think all four original members would have got back together for a tour if they were all alive now. John Lennon was shot by a fan in New York in 1980, while George Harrison died of lung cancer in 2001.

When asked the "crazy question" on whether they would reunite in the present day, Ringo said, "I'd like to think, yes, we would. Paul still goes out with his band, I go out with mine and John would have probably been going out with his. George was not big on touring so I'm not sure about him. But who knows... it could have come together."

CiaraCiara is so focused on providing her fans entertainment that she doesn't let anything stop her - not even when she's being served in the middle of her show. Talk about dedication!

While performing a concert in celebration of L.A. Pride, the 27 year-old singer received papers from what she thought was a fan - only to realize that they were legal documents informing her of a lawsuit filed against her. Without hesitating, Ciara quickly threw the papers back at the woman and continued with her performance without having paused for a moment.

The lawsuit - filed by West Hollywood club The Factory - claims that the R&B singer failed to appear for a concert last Friday for which she had signed a $10,000 contract. The club says that Ciara informed them that she couldn't perform due to her obligations with L.A. Pride, but agreed to appearing at the venue - a promise the club claims that she didn't uphold. Ciara's reps say that they had informed The Factory that she would be unable to appear, but they continued to promote her appearance there anyway.

Placebo is back with a new album, and they're not being quiet about it.

The alternative rockers released a teaser for the title track of their upcoming seventh studio album, Loud Like Love. Though the video appears to be a little more normal than the band's usual aesthetic, the music itself sounds like they're departing from their sixth album Battle for the Sun - thankfully - and returning to the style fans recall from Meds (2006) and Sleeping with Ghosts (2003).

Jennifer LopezJennifer Lopez believes "women have taken over the music industry."

The "Live it Up" hitmaker insists she's been in the trade for so long that she's definitely "here to stay" and that a lot of male artists aren't doing as well because females have been breaking the industry for over 20 years.

"Women have taken over the music industry - when you think of all the female artists who are out. Even going back 20 years, back to Cher, Gloria Estefan and that whole time with Mariah Carey and Celine Dion and then the next wave which was me and then Britney [Spears] and Beyonce to what's continued to now the Rihanna and Lady Gaga. With all these people there have been a few guys - but we have really had it on lock for a bit."
